Matthew Teltser - Cardiologist with a Preventative Care Approach

Based in Hollywood, Florida, Matthew Teltser, MD, is a cardiologist with knowledge of lipidology and hypertension. As a high school student in Springfield, New Jersey, Dr. Teltser played the trumpet in the marching band and performed as a pit orchestra member for school musicals. Excelling on the links, he was active with the varsity golf team. Subsequently, he graduated from Rutgers College and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, then pursued a residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Teltser's research included a study of the effects of beta blockers in healthy volunteers.

Dr. Teltser has also undertaken fellowship work focused on cardiovascular disease at the University of Florida Health in Jacksonville. A specialty coffee enthusiast, he roasts his own beans. He is also a collector of fine wines.
